The Rainbow Granny Stripe Blanket: an update on My Happy Blanket

Yes, I am still plugging away at the blanket. It is getting large now but it is still lots of fun. From the beginning I called it My Happy Blanket because every time I look at it I smile. It makes me feel happy, for some reason.

It is now too big to be practically portable, so it relies on me coming to it to work on it, rather than it being carried around with me so I can work on it wherever I am with a few minutes spare. You can see why progress has slowed a little. There always seems to be other things to do than sit on the lounge and crochet. It has been fun to work on it in the cold evening over the last few weeks because it now reaches my toes while I'm stitching. YAY!

I took some progress photos this week just to try out my camera a bit. It really doesn't seem to be able to pick up the purple very well, or the dusky pink. I noticed it on the first photos I took of it at the start of this blog, and I haven't been able to resolve it yet. As you can probably tell, I am not very camera minded.  Any help in that department would be appreciated. Anyway, enjoy the rainbowy goodness...
