The FWSQ: Checkerboard Block

This is another block that I have had cut out for a while. I changed the centre square for a fussy cut motif because the fabric I had picked, a paisley, just wasn't working. And I rearranged the colours slightly. This was a fun little block to make and I think it is kind of cute.
It was rotary cut and machine pieced and came out at 6.25". A little under. Also you can see from the photo it doesn't seem to be quite square, but when pressed it is fine. And there is a good seam allowance all the way around so none of the points will be cut off when the sashing goes on.
Thanks for stopping by!
