The FWSQ: Butterfly At The Crossroads Block

This block would have been much quicker to make except I missed calculated and made the half square triangle units too big. I ended up cutting out the triangles separately and sewing them along the bias.

It seems that I have very little in green in reproduction fabric, primarily because green was not readily available at the time. After making this block I have decided I will need to keep my eyes peeled for more greens, and yellows.

This block was rotary cut, machine pieced and is a slightly wonky 6.5" unfinished.

  2. I did it last Thursday night! I am hoping to have another one done before Thursday. We will have to sit down and work out a plan for the next week's blocks. So excited!
